When I was 14 I had a nasty accident with a pony who reared and flipped over as we were going into a water jump at pony club. I ended up losing all my confidence and a girl at pony club contacted me saying her horse "Albert" would be perfect for me.

At the time Albert was 19 and I thought he might last me a couple of years, so I purchased him. 

He is now 35 and I've had the joy of owning him for 16 years doing a range of activities such as showing at A&P level where he always performed well in the mannered section. Dressage (at one ODE a judge asked what breed he was as he had just won 2nd overall!), low level one day events and lots of hacking and road riding.

Most of all Albert gave me my confidence back. He gave me endless hours of fun and has been my best friend for the past 16 years. 

If I could clone this little guy I definitely would. He is my one in a million boy!
