I brought Thefixer aka Tosti in mid March 2022 from the HERO programme, he was schooled by Tarryn Jones.

He is an absolute sweetheart and Tarryn has done a super job of starting him.

We are still getting to know each other but he is such a champ. He tries so hard and never says no- his attitude is amazing.

Thefixer is very trainable and would actually prefer to be on the slow side of life these days but maybe that’s what made him such a great racehorse- saving his energy untill the end!

He has been to Bill Noble dressage lessons with some amazing feedback on his movement and looks.

The goal for Tosti is mainly showing and dressage, but I might dabble in a little bit of jumping to make things exciting for him.

He is loving the schooling and taking the kids and their pony out for a ride on the lead to cool down. He has taken to 'hack' life like a duck to water.

Tosti knows what he wants especially after riding, he NEEDS his treats or he stamps his foot until he gets them.

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him as he has a lot of potential.

Thanks to the HERO programme for allowing me to have Tosti as I’m sure the list would have been massive!

Tosti hadn’t even been with me a week and he already had someone come and offer sponsorship- being Southridge Equine.
