The Government’s latest announcement means all harness racing meetings and trials will be held at their own racecourses this week.

The Order and Direction - Level 3 is in place and remains in place while New Zealand or parts thereof are at Alert Level 3.

With racing resuming this week, Harness Racing New Zealand wishes to clarify the do's and don’ts under Alert Level Three and Four.

All race meetings scheduled for New Zealand over the weekend and into the early part of next week have been cancelled following the Government’s decision to extend the Alert Level 4 lockdown.

There’s been a lot of feedback, and some confusion, about what trainers can do with their horses during lockdown.
